Vehicle Description 1948 Chrysler Windsor Transmission was originally manufactured to be shifted manually into 3rd gear then IT shifts up or down like an automatic.
After you start driving you don't have to use the clutch again unless you shift into reverse.
This is Original and works as designed.
Very Cool.
Newly rebuilt Transmission, newly rebuilt Carburetor, new Muffler and Pipes, New Tires, Suspension and Steering attended to as well.
Paint is Very Good, Chrome is in fair condition.
Suicide rear doors.
Emblems freshly painted.
Some rust underneath but appears to be surface only.
No holes rusted through.
Car is very clean.
nasty bits:
needs some fabric replaced in front on door panels and drivers seat back rest (see Pictures), rear seating area is in Very Good condition.
