Become a part of a team where every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact in your community!Job SummaryThe credentialing assistant is involved in a wide range of administrative support activities inside our provider services department, from maintaining provider records to coordinating pre-employment requirements for new providers.
An important part of your role is to act as a liaison between provider services and providers, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
Essential Job FunctionsAdministrative SupportServe as the point person for provider requests.
Maintain a tracking system to ensure requests and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Provide a weekly report on the department's progress.
Receive and distribute mail, preparing appropriate responses for the department.
Process required paperwork for credentialing matters.
Respond to external/internal requests for information (i.
e.
, verifications of employment(loan repayment), affiliation verification and payer request, etc.
) in a timely manner.
Ordering office suppliesTake meeting notes/minutes Schedules and coordinates meetings Staffing AssistanceCoordinate with other departments providers start dates Reporting and RecordkeepingMaintain digital and paper records for the credentialing department (i.

)Prepare monthly credentialing reports.
Perform file audits to ensure that all required provider documentation is collected and maintained current.
Notify managers and supervising providers one month before peer reviews are due.
Track and report completion information.
Track provider re-credentialing to ensure compliance with HRSA.
Create and maintain excel spreadsheets to track credentialing information as needed.
Responsible for data entry in different credentialing platforms Grant staff members portal access in a timely mannerResponsible for department filing Other tasks as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required;Minimum two years of administrative experience in an office environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly computer literate with strong capability in MS Office and Google Suite.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
