Aerojet Rocketdyne seeks an Intern - Cost & Price Analysis for Summer 2021 in either its Canoga Park, CA or Huntsville, AL location.
After orientation and training, the intern will perform entry-level price and cost analysis.
The intern will support the procurement and estimating processes for significant subcontracts in support of all Aerojet Rocketdyne's Aerospace and Defense products.
The intern must be able to operate effectively in a team environment.
Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)40% - Assists and supports Cost/Price Specialists who carry out broad and complex assignments in the analysis of complex high dollar cost proposals.
This responsibility includes an in-depth review of the supplier's supporting data for each of the cost elements that make up the subcontractors proposed price, assessing subcontractor cost or pricing data for adequacy in accordance with FAR Part 15.
30% - Assists and supports Cost/Price Specialists in conducting fact finding in order to gain a thorough understanding of the subcontractors' cost proposals as well as collect and review supporting data.
20% - Assists and supports Cost/Price Specialists with the development of negotiation positions and pricing objectives.
10% - Any special projects as assigned.

degree program in Business (Accounting or Finance preferred) or related field, and be returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
