Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Minimum Qualifications for the GS-09:
Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes informing management officials and employees on basic EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) program requirements or pulling reports to analyze data to monitor the progress in achieving EEO goals and assisting in the EEO complaint process. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Management, or a related discipline appropriate to the position. OR Combination of Education and
Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Minimum Qualifications for the GS-11:
Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes informing and advising management officials and employees on EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) program requirements; applying the operating principles, methods, and techniques of the EEO program such as fact-finding, analysis, counseling, complaint, and investigative processes; pulling reports to analyze data and monitor the progress in achieving EEO goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Management, or a related discipline appropriate to the position. OR Combination of Education and
Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-7/9).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
