THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION. Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the Management Analyst, GS-0343-11, is to serve as a Management Analyst with responsibility for conducting review and analysis of data. Conducts studies in conjunction with special projects as assigned by the J5 and or Chief of Staff, which involve gathering and compiling facts and data associated with the project. Works with directors throughout the CMD to develop strategic plan with obtainable goals which align with TAG's strategic objectives through use of Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. Develops performance measurement tools and data collection methods for continuous monitoring of operational data to ensure that all programs are fully integrated and effective. Reviews Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Air Force, Department of the Army (DA), National Guard Bureau (NGB), Army National Guard (ARNG), Air National Guard (ANG), and other agency planning documents (i.e. National Military Strategy, Defense Planning Guidance, Quadrennial Defense Review, etc.) and ensures the state strategic plan remains synchronized with current topics, future initiatives and higher headquarters planning documents. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance. General
Experience:
Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes and principles of management; Experience using computer and automation systems. Management Analyst, GS-0343-11:
Must have at least 36 months experience which provided a detailed knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures and techniques; Experience analyzing and interpreting policies and the procedures of higher headquarters/management as to applicability to current policies; Experience presenting and discussing complex matters in a clear and convincing manner; Experience in communicating with people from various backgrounds and circumstances. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
