Specialized
Experience:
At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level in the Federal Government (or equivalent) which includes overseeing the planning and development of large and small water resource projects and advising on the environmental impact of water resources development projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13) or private sector equivalent. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
