HR Associate Manager

The Associate Human Resources Manager position reports tothe Human Resource Manager, and provides HR Generalist support. Thishighly visible position plays a lead role with employee and labor relationsmatters, executes HR policies and procedures, and ensures data integrity in SAPand other Human Resources Information Systems.
The role requires significant customer- and business partnerorientation, the ability to work independently and influence at a senior levelto effectively support behavioral change. Additionally, and mostimportantly, the role will serve as a steward of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group'svalues and organizational behaviors helping to shape our culture.
Relocation:
A $5K sign on bonus is offered to out of state candidates.
Location and Travel:
This role will office in our Sacramento, CA branch and supportsapproximately 400 employees, a mix of union and non-union. The HRAssociate Manager will also have responsibility for 2-3 additional, local,smaller branches in the Northern California Market with approximate 20% travel.

Responsibilities:
Partner with Area Director and Branch Managers to developannual workforce strategy (perform workforce analysis including turnover, totalcompensation, organizational structure, engagement, etc.).
Display analytical rigor and business acumen in solvingproblems and recommending solutions based on data.
Coach and develop business partners in the areas ofperformance and talent management.
Assist HR Manager with regional projects, team developmentand facilitation of various training initiatives predicated on business needsand corporate goals.
Manage daily employee and labor relations and performinitial investigations in regard to employee complaints and policyviolations. Escalate to HR Manager when necessary.
Implement and monitor HR compliance with DPS policy, HRsystems, and federal/state law (including but not limited to 1-9s, personnelfiles, Worker's Compensation, EEO, ADA, FMLA)
Track and report on open positions and help manage positionrequisition process for internal transfers to ensure accuracy of postings andinternal movement.
Champion the Call to Action initiatives, statement ofbusiness principles, Corporate Social Responsibility, diversity andinclusiveness and utilize them to build a positive work environment.
Research and respond to initial unemployment requests fordata as well as scheduling and notifying participants of upcoming hearings.
Develop communication materials (e.g., PowerPointpresentations, termination letters, and other correspondence).
Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Business, HumanResources Management, Safety OR Bachelor's Degree from an accrediteduniversity with 2 years HR equivalent work experience supporting a business groupwith remote and/or field-based employees in a manufacturing or sales anddistribution setting
3 years' experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel andPowerPoint
1 year experience using or knowledge of using an HRISand/or Payroll Software

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
