Marketing Artist - Contract
We are seeking a Marketing Artist to join the Star Wars:
Galaxy of Heroes mobile team.
The ideal candidate has design experience in creating online visual campaigns that deliver high engagement and conversion rates.
This position requires a strong online portfolio demonstrating strong 2d illustration and compositional skills and strategic thinking with a focus on product storytelling and consumer engagement within a clearly defined brand structure. This person should have the ability to articulate the rationale behind their design from both a user-centered focus and business perspective.
The position requires the capacity to work under tight deadlines and to collaborate effectively in high pressure situations. The ability to manage constructive feedback and partner relationships is critical to success in this role. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about gaming and the Star Wars IP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and navigate game clients and editors (Unity experience preferred) to set up and capture print-quality screenshots.
Compose artistic shots that bring to life action sequences and capture the essence of our game
Create online and in-game assets for banners, social media, interstitials, key art, and in game campaigns.
Take loose requirements from marketing teams and turn them into effective marketing creative that effectively engages a target audience.
Ensure that creative is compliant with licensor guidelines.
Create polished key art illustrations and paint-overs for user facing ads and marketing
Analyze market & competition trends in order to recognize key visual differentiating and competitive advantages of our titles.
Maintain marketing asset pipeline and ensure the timely delivery of assets to other departments and partners.
Ensure a consistency in the quality and visual style of work throughout the asset production cycle.
REQUIREMENTS
2
years' experience or education equivalent.
In-depth understanding of mobile games. Game development experience is a plus.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to recreate, retouch and paint elements.
