Job Summary

Crowe Horwath is currently seeking an experienced, Senior Project Manager with Public Sector management and/or IT advisory consulting experience in our growing advisory services practice in the Sacramento area. With over 30 years of experience in conducting projects for the State of California, the desired candidate will be part of a team of resources dedicated to building and growing our government consulting capabilities. This individual will be primarily responsible for leading and conducting government management consulting and IT advisory consulting projects, such as business process redesign, organizational change management and technology procurement support and implementation efforts. This individual will have a client delivery focus in our Public Sector Consulting Practice as well as responsibilities for proposal development.

Qualifications


Qualifications:



  • Experience planning and managing public sector projects, including public sector business process reengineering, organizational change management, project management of technology implementations and procurement support projects

  • Experience managing client expectations

    • Ability to manage daily interactions with the clients' executive leadership and sponsors

    • Ability to develop and manage deliverables

    • Ability to lead the project delivery team

    • Proven track record in delivery, with projects being delivered within scope, budget, and schedule

    • Ability to manage client, project, and vendor teams

    • Leadership and staff development experience

    • Previous consulting experience



Additional
Qualifications:



  • Project management certification (PMP), Business Analysis (CBAP) or a Six Sigma certification is preferred

  • Organizational management certification

  • Undergraduate Degree (BS/BA)

  • Master's Degree is preferred

  • Experience leading business process redesign activities

  • Experience leading organizational change management activities, including training

  • Experience with conducting projects for state and local governmental agencies

  • Experience writing proposals and estimating project work

  • 10
    years of experience managing and delivering professional consulting services

  • 8
    years of public sector technology implementation project management experience

  • 5
    years of experience planning, managing and delivering proposals for government

  • Travel may be required (possibly 10% - 20%), although most projects are in Sacramento

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
