The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, extractors, fractionators, homogenizers, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment,and blending/mixing systems.

Shift and Schedule


This is a full time permanent position working on 2nd or 3rd shift. 2nd shift hours are from 1:
30pm - 10:
00pm Monday - Friday and 3rd shift hours are from 10:
00pm - 6:
30am Sunday - Thursday. Must be open to overtime and weekends as needed.


Pay Rate


The starting pay rate for this position is $21.44 per hour.


Position Responsibilities



  1. Install wire and program Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)

  2. Understand and work on ammonia systems, CO2 Systems, Nitrogen Systems.

  3. Start, stop, and repair boiler when needed.

  4. Navigate and make proper adjustments to the machine HMI control panels.

  5. Read and use ladder logic to troubleshoot.

  6. Read and understand Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting.

  7. Troubleshoot all (480volt,240 volt, 110 volt, 24 volt) electrical circuits.

  8. Program and troubleshoot can and bottle coding equipment.

  9. Start up, troubleshoot and repair the Reverse Osmosis (RO) system.

  10. Service and maintain the air compressors.

  11. Fabricate and weld with Mig, Tig, Stick welders.

  12. Proficient in the operation of all production equipment.

  13. Set-up , troubleshoot, and perform repairs on the can/bottle reject systems.

  14. Safety oriented using LOTO and Arc flash protection at all necessary times when needed.

  15. Willing to train B,C,D class mechanics in making repairs.

Qualifications



  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)

  • 2 years of technical training OR 1 year related maintenance experience

  • Lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly, walking and standing for long period of time

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
