Field Botanist (0-7 years' experience)
We have an immediate opening for a field botanist based in Sacramento, CA
Bachelor's Degree in Botany or Wetland Ecology required
Entry level to seven years of professional experience
Knowledge of plant identification
Ability to travel and complete field work in all types of weather. Locations - SoCal, Central Valley and the Sierras.
Team-oriented individual
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Experience working with California agencies and their protocols
Ecology/Biology background
Wetland Experience
Good communication skills
Professional writing skills
Effective time management and follow-through skills with the ability to organize and simultaneously work on multiple projects and meet project deadlines
Positive and energetic attitude, self-motivated with strong initiative

Compensation - DOE

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
