Exciting career opportunity for a BSN to assume the responsibility as a MS (Multiple Sclerosis)Nurse Educator for a National Leader in RX Industry in Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
This new role is to be the main point of contact to MS patients and HCPs in the process of initiating MS therapy. The MS nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering resources and information to optimize the MS patient and physician experience with our MS therapy with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.

Interacts with patients via (telephonic) phone and in person to educate, motivate, and empower them at every step of the initiation process as well as transition to adherence support. Primary HCP interface for the MS patient services program including live office visits, problem resolution, reimbursement support and office staff education. This position does not involve the practice of nursing.
Territory - Based in Sacramento, covering north to Redding (Chico included) and east to Reno. Most business will be in Sacramento.
Travel: 10%-20%
Money: Very competitive package with a Base of $80K - $110K to $115K

Requirements:
Nurse Educator - Nursing Degree (BSN, RN, NP) with licensure in state in which he/she resides; Highly preferred is 2 year of industry experience. MS certification not mandatory but preferred.
Candidates with vibrant personalities, results driven, and high positive energy. Driver or analytical personalities wanted.
Experience with explaining difficult clinical concepts and related processes to patients, HCPs and office staff.
Understanding of product and payor reimbursement landscape and prior authorization guidelines and processesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
