Project Manager
Your new companyHays Civil Construction has partnered with one of the most established Heavy Civil General Contractors who are currently hiring a Project Manager to support their Highway division in Southern CA.
As a company that has been around for over 30 years, this role would suit candidates who are seeking a mid-sized company with a pipeline of projects on the books and someone that sees himself in a leadership in the next few years.
Your new roleIn this role as a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include providing leadership for the various areas of civil project construction including cost planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and management of all on-site workers.
You will be in command of the project from the start right through to completion and the entire close-out process.
What you'll need to succeedBachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent education and experience required.
Minimum of 5 years Heavy Civil construction industry experience, with experience constructing highways, roadways and concrete projectsThorough knowledge of Caltrans plans and specifications is required.
Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc.
and their impact on project activities is vital.
