Job duties:
Perform removal of the decedent from hospital, nursing home, residence, coroner's office, and donor facilities and transport to funeral homes, prep rooms, coroner's offices, airports, and donor facilities Thoroughly complete pertinent paperwork and ID tags.
Respectfully and professionally interact with grieving families, healthcare staff, mortuary employees, law enforcement, and coworkers.
Maintains and ensures removal vehicle is clean inside and out, and is properly maintained.
Maintains adequate supply of PPE in removal vehicle.
Act in a professional, responsible manner.
Must be able to follow directions, policies, and procedures with little supervision.
Requirements:
Valid California drivers license with 3 years of driving experience and a clean MVR.
We will run a background check and drug screen upon hire.
Professional business attire Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Cell phone (we reimburse $30.
00/month for your cell phone).
Physical requirements include the ability to:
Sit for extended periods of time Drive in traffic and in all weather conditions Lift, push, and pull objects or equipment Move up and down stairs easily Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling.
