Job Purpose We are looking for a Distribution Driver who is concerned with transporting items in a safe and timely manner.
As a Distribution Driver you are responsible for operating a company vehicle to retrieve or deliver product, supplies, or materials as per the company's needs.
The ideal candidate possesses extreme attention to detail, focus, high energy, flexibility, and the ability to fast paced ever changing environment.
Responsibilities:
Meeting company distribution and material transportation/delivery needs.
Preparing product for delivery, loading delivery vehicles, driving multiple types of delivery vehicles.
Transporting materials between four facilities.
Retrieving supplies and materials from various retailers.
Manage and be accountable for Cash & Inventory.
Interacting with customers and staff on delivery routes with professionalism.
Responsible for daily checklist of vehicle maintenance and condition.
Driving trips locally and statewide.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have a valid California driver's license.
Clean Driving Record - No DUI's / Accidents / Excessive Tickets.
Ability to pass background checks.
At least 21 years of age or older.
Ability to lift and pull up to 70 lbs.
1 year of delivery experience preferred.
