Excellent Opportunity as a Float Medical Provider in Sacramento, CA.
Join a large multispecialty group that is looking for a Float Medical ProviderThe provider should be either a MD, DO, NP or PA specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and is responsible for providing high quality primary care to patients in an outpatient settingThis group is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing comprehensive primary and preventative health care services to a growing patient populationWe are committed to providing excellent service to our patient population throughout the greater Sacramento areaThis is a hybrid role that requires covering the in-person and/or remote clinic schedule and inbox for other medical providers who are on leaveWhen in-person coverage is needed, Float Medical Provider will be scheduled in-person at in the Greater Sacramento areaWhen coverage is not needed, the Float Medical Provider has a remote telemedicine schedule for same-day visitsThis role offers great flexibility in terms of hoursBoth 8- and 10-hour weekday schedules will be considered, as well as 8- to 40-hour week schedulesSchedules can be either the same every week or based on organizational need, depending on the Float Medical Providers preferenceThere are no on-call responsibilities, panel of patients, supervision of other providers, or required weekend hoursIn-person work will be required when covering for an in-person providers leave; otherwise, work will be remoteThe successful candidate has:
At least 1-2 years of clinical experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferredCompensation - Dependent Upon Experience MD/DO:
$212,160 - $275,808 annually
