Responsibilities of the Data Analyst Intern include:
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in consumer credit data to help make business decisionsDesign new analytical workflows and/or optimize existing workflows with the goal to automate report generation and enable self-service analytics.
Analyzing large datasets using Alteryx, SQL and PythonDesign and build innovative data and analytics solutions, visuals, metrics and KPIsSummarize and present the results of analysis using Excel and data visualization toolsQualificationsCurrently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's degree program in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related degreeBe returning to school in the Fall of 2024 to complete degree programExpert knowledge of SQL and one of databases - SQL server, Vertica, MySQL, AuroraExperience or familiarity with BI tools like Tableau/Qlik/Power BI and MS Office tools is a plusKnowledge of data modeling, machine learning and tools like Python, Spark, Hive is desirableKnowledge of consumer credit or financial industry preferredStrong communication skills, who can express complex concepts and ideas in a simple manner (written, presentation and verbal)Strong analytical mind-set.
Able to synthesize complex data and produce impactful insightsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsFlare for working with large datasetsFlexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and a fun team environmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.

The base pay range for this position is listed above.
Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education.
This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
