Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Receiving and Inspecting Goods:
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and inspect for damages.
Organize and store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
Order Picking and Packing:
Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements.
Safely and securely pack orders to ensure products are delivered in excellent condition.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory counts.
Update inventory records in the system to maintain accurate stock levels.
Quality Control:
Monitor and report any quality issues or discrepancies with received or picked items.
Follow quality control procedures to maintain high product standards.
Shipping and Receiving:
Prepare shipments for outgoing orders, including labeling and documentation.
Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Ensure proper storage of goods to optimize space and facilitate easy retrieval.
Equipment Operation:
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment.
Participate in safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management.
Forklift certification is a plus.
