Telework Information:
This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
Within the Member Account Management Division (MAMD), the Refunds Unit is responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing refund applications.
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent will research and evaluate the less complex participant refund applications to ensure accuracy of the benefit payment.
The incumbent will also review and respond to inquiries as assigned and perform a variety of analytical assignments for the Refunds Unit including partial refund calculations, reinstatements, community property splits, cancellation of refund, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
