Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs - Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors - Assist with meal preparation and feeding - Change diapers and assist with toilet training - Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or conflicts that arise - Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities Skills:
- Behavior management:
Ability to effectively manage and redirect challenging behaviors in a positive manner - Babysitting:
Experience providing care for children in a casual or occasional setting - Experience working with students:
Previous experience working with children in an educational or tutoring capacity - First aid:
Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies - Nannying:
Experience providing full-time care for children in a private home setting - Infant care:
Knowledge of infant development and experience caring for infants - Childcare:
Understanding of the needs and developmental stages of children of various ages - Daycare:
Familiarity with the operations and regulations of a licensed daycare facility - Special education:
Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with special needs in an inclusive environment - Childhood development:
Understanding of typical child development milestones and age-appropriate activities Note:
