We are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to help grow our Higher Education practice in California.
We recently hired a new practice leader and now we need a marketing leader to unlock the true potential of this sector.
We're looking for someone who not only understands this sector, but crucially what it takes to launch something new, partner with practitioners, and drive growth.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual, with a background in marketing and/or communications-a team player who can lead a pursuit process, communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline driven environment.

Your Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare engaging pursuit and promotional materials which highlight our depth of experience and expertisePartner with our Education leader to drive growth by researching clients, identifying opportunities, helping develop strategy, and making informed recommendationsProposal writing, positioning, and interview preparationMaintain positive working relationships with your business leadership, practitioners, and marketing teamPartner with the Account Management team to drive key client growth strategiesManage varying prioritiesWork closely with our marketing leadership team to drive success and set us apartCollaborate with our Public Relations team on key pursuits, promotional activities, and positioning campaigns Your Capabilities and CredentialsA passion for people, building trust, and fostering solid relationshipsProven experience in strategic planning, capacity to think outside the box while adapting to changes in market trendsStartup mindset, able and willing to grow the business An active listener; critical thinking and problem-solving skillsA diligent and detail-oriented proposal leader with exceptional prioritization and organizational skillsAn experienced writer with a passion for developing tailored, engaging proposal material, with overall ownership of the final written and graphic contentDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative SuiteAbility to work effectively within a group and independentlyMust thrive working in a deadline-driven environmentEducation and ExperiencePost-secondary degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or an equivalent level of experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing-related field Experience with the RFQ/RFP processExperience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry requiredExperience with Education market strongly preferredThis description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.
