00 Annual Salary The Department of Developmental Services is currently seeking individuals with health program administration experience to fill a Health Program Specialist II positionat Headquarters in Sacramento (1215 O Street, Sacramento, California 95814, United States).
Experience in the following areas will ensure success in this role:
Four years of progressively responsible experience in health program administration, at least two of which must have been with independent responsibility for a significant program such as is normally found in a complex or departmentalized medical care delivery setting or health institution or organization.
This experience must include program planning and/or evaluation experience and the making of recommendations to management.
Knowledge of:
Public health, mental health and health care services programs and trends; problems and procedures involved in establishing community relationships and assessing community health program needs and resources.
Ability to assist in development of public health and health care projects, apply health regulations, policies and procedures.
