Telework Information:
This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
CalPERS seeks an Associate Accounting Analyst in the Financial Reporting and Accounting Services (FRAS) Division, Pension Benefit Accounting Unit.
The incumbent analyzes and processes weekly and monthly Public Employees Retirement Fund (PERF) / Judges Retirement System (JLRS) benefit roll claim schedules and transfer requests.
Prepares and processes manual claims related to benefit payments.
Reconciles benefit expenses and other general ledger accounts between Peoplesoft and myCalPERS risk pools.
Prepares Prepare by Client (PBC) items for external auditors and various audit schedules for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Reporting.
Participate and assist in Joint Application Requirement (JAR) / Joint Application Design (JAD) meeting and User Accepting Testing for system changes and upgrades.
