Operations Improvement Specialist | Healthcare

OverviewNational multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Healthcare Operational Improvement Specialist to work as part of a planning and design team guiding the company's healthcare clients through strategic transformation with process improvement at a variety of scales.
In this role, you will work with senior operations leaders, project leadership and other project staff to support projects that deliver measurable value to the client.
Ideal candidates will possess operational improvement experience specific to healthcare, supported by a level of education, training, and experience in process improvement.
Candidates will have demonstrated analytical problem solving and superior oral and written communication skills.
A history and knowledge of lean process improvement, data analytics, and / or change management are desired.
In addition, in this role, you will have the opportunity to differentiate the company in the marketplace through thought leadership and in competitive client interviews.
This role will join our Design & Research Group, a multidisciplinary team of evidence-based researchers, practice-based researchers, lean process improvement specialists, design anthropologists, and data analytics and visualization specialists.
This group is driven by a mission to be highly integrated across the firm's practices to advance design processes, build to the body of knowledge, and apply original insight to achieve positive and enduring impact.

Bachelor's degree 6-12 years of process improvement experience, with specific competency in healthcare Demonstrated ability to structure data, create detailed workflows, with quantitative strengths in the creation of detailed analytical models Experience in the coordination, management and visualization of data using Tableau, PowerBi, R, SSIS History of supporting original thought leadership with problem scoping, problem solving, 3P facilitation, creation and presentation of insightful content and visuals Ability to work independently and to manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Some travel is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (preferred but not required) Licensed industrial engineer Discrete event simulation (e.
g.
, ProModel), Revit, Dynamo a plus Experience participating in and/or supporting competitive interviews and selling ideas Project work influencing the programming, planning and design of the built environment Recommended Skills Autodesk Revit Built Environment Business Process Improvement Change Management Coaching And Mentoring Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
