RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for a MRI & CT Technologist to join our team.
We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment.

As a MRI & CT technologist under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, you will perform all required diagnostic MRI scanning procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high quality examinations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
(75%) Patient Imaging Perform all required diagnostic MRI scanning procedures through proper positioning and technique, including proper use of coils, consistently demonstrating good judgment in evaluating the diagnostic studies.
Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination Obtains and reviews the order for examination to verify information such as procedure requested, clinical history, patient condition or any other special requirements Thoroughly explains procedure to be performed to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate patient cooperation and provide support to the patient throughout the procedure Monitors the condition of any patient within the department and assists the radiologist in performing needed medical attention, if applicable Complies with company operational and safety policies and procedures Complies with hospital policies, procedures, and emergency procedures, where applicable Assists radiologist during the administration of contrast media or administer contrast media if allowed under state guidelines and practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures as required.
Recognizes allergic reactions and responds in accordance to company policies and procedures for emergent patient care Assists with patient scheduling and patient preparation required prior to examination Conduct examinations with regard to patient's age, condition or other special requirements.
Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required.
Maintains accurate patient records within Radiologic Information System (RIS) (20%) Ancillary Responsibilities Maintains the MR scanning equipment in good operating order Performs and records daily QA procedures to ensure correct and accurate operation of the equipment Maintains the quality standards set by Joint Commission, AAHCA, OSHA and the ACR Cleans and disinfects equipment and area after each use Checks to ensure emergency equipment is in good working order Reports any hazardous conditions or equipment breakdowns to responsible supervisor.
Monitors medical supply inventory Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise (5%) Performs other duties as assigned CT TECH:
Operates CT scanner to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
Provides technical support to CT services, assuring that services are provided within professional standards and with excellent customer service.

Creates a positive experience for every customer, every day by believing in and practicing The Experience (80%) Patient Imaging Performs routine and advanced CT procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination Explains and prepares patients for CT procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure Adjusts scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS) Maintains an orderly and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use (15%) Support Assists with maintaining an updated CT protocol manual and software upgrades Monitors medical supply inventory and orders supplies as necessary Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise (5%) Completes other tasks as assigned MR TECH:

Required:
Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
Be current and in good standing or certified in one of the following per modality (ARRT, ARMRIT).
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Training and experience sufficient to competently perform MR procedures independently Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance Preferred:
1 year of experience as a MRI technologist CT TECH:

92-$46.
72 based on direct and relevant experience.
