We are currently hiring a qualified and reliable maintenance technician to assist the maintenance of our building.
The role will be responsible for installation, repair and upkeep of our operations facility.
An ideal candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of maintaining machinery, planning repairs and developing maintenance procedures.
Essential Job Function The knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily perform each essential duty:
Experience performing routine maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, maintenance inventory and repairs; Experience working with a maintenance budget; Ability to maintain all machinery to ensure its at working standards; Ability to conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve issues; Partnering with production departments to adhere to the safety policies and procedures on equipment; Experience obtaining estimates/quotes and scheduling repair work; Experience developing and managing vendor relationships; Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
The following qualifications are needed to successfully meet the essential job functions:
Minimum of 5 years in maintenance; Strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems; Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment; Strong verbal communication skills; Able to adapt to changing needs and priorities; Able to sit, stand, reach and carry as needed for a full shift (8-hours); Must be able to lift, carry up to a maximum of 50 lbs; Must be self-motivated and have a positive, solution-seeking attitude; Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment; Able to commit to a consistent work schedule with good attendance; Other duties as assigned.
