Telework Information:
This position requires full-time attendance in the office, working onsite five days per week.

CalPERS seeks an Accounting Officer, Specialist or Accountant Trainee in the Financial Reporting and Accounting Services Division, Travel Unit.
The position reconciles Uncleared Collections, Outstanding Salary Advances, Travel Advances, and Payroll ARs on a monthly basis.
Prepares and sends collection notifications to employees with outstanding travel advances.
Coordinates with Human Resources Division (HRSD) to ensure timely collection of outstanding Salary Advances and Payroll ARs.
Prepares necessary documents for submission of uncollected ARs to Franchise Tax Board for offset of income tax returns.
Distributes monthly payroll warrants to CalPERS employees, coordinates with HRSD on payroll exceptions, releases, salary advances, and deductions, and releases all payroll garnishments.
