None Overview:
The Production Planning Manager is responsible for developing production plans to meet budget and customer delivery dates.
The Production Planning Manager will lead their team from the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the Production Planners by setting expectations, providing guidance, and training Analyze, plan, and release production orders to manufacturing Develop new and update existing standards and procedures for the team Collaborate with Production, Operations, Supply Chain, Design, and Project teams Report out on the production plan, identify road blocks and provide solutions to remove or mitigate issues Develop and maintain monthly department Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for On-time deliveries Analyze production data and its impacts to KPI's or production budgets and make changes where necessary Drive data and inventory transaction accuracy Coordinate with Project Teams to forecast demand and set priorities Analyze production capacity data and provide report outs on over/under capacity Prepare and submit status and performance reports on production planning Provide estimated manufacturing time for assemblies Facilitate approved Engineer Change Requests and Deviations Maintain a culture of safety and Quality Perform other duties as assigned DESIRED SKILLS &
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of job experience and education Advanced knowledge in production planning and strong analytical skills Extensive experience working within an ERP and/or MRP system.
Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
Understanding of manufacturing processes for electrical assemblies 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including forecasting, scheduling, and supply chain Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Process and detail oriented Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills WORK ENVIROMENT:
The Production Planner Manager spends most of their time at the company's manufacturing plant.
At the plant, work is performed in a traditional manufacturing environment, with higher noise levels and frequent movement of people and equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to verbally communicate:
convey detailed and accurate instructions and information.
Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information.
Required to sit at a desk work station for long periods of time.
Occasionally push, pull, lift, and carry at least 25 pounds.
Frequently required to walk and stand.
This position may involve infrequent site visits which will require the ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Required to have visual acuity with or without correction in order to read contract documents, analyze data, view a computer monitor, and proof-read documents to identify errors.
Required to use fingers and hands:
type using a computer keyboard, handle, feel, and reach.
Occasionally stoop, kneel, and crouch.

COMPENSATION:
Construction Innovations pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with each employee's knowledge, experience and skill level.
