Job Overview:
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.
We have an opportunity for an Information Technology Department Assistant/Help Desk to join our team.
This position is full time, non-exempt and benefits eligible.
The pay range for this position is $22.
85 - $34.
27/hourly.
Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
Responsibilities:
To provide a variety of clerical, data entry, and accounting functions in support of the Information Technology Department.
Process all requests for telephone, pager, and cell phone service.
Demonstrates initiative and efficiency in managing and prioritizing workload.
Basic IT troubleshooting of workstations, phones, cell phones, pagers, and hospital software.
Password resets.
Enter service tickets.
Order IT equipment from vendors Acts as a resource for the Hospital Staff to answer Help Desk related questions.
Coordinates all incoming computer trouble calls for help desk.
Performs general clerical duties.
Demonstrates the ability to professionally interact and communicate appropriately with staff, patients, families, and visitors.

Qualifications:
Education High School diploma required Skills and Experience 3-5 years administrative experience Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite of products Experience using ServiceNOW.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
