Department of Social Services' Information Systems Division is recruiting for an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST II (ITS II).
The California Department of Social Services' (CDSS) Information Systems Division (ISD) has an amazing opportunity for an Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) to join a dynamic project team and make a difference in many young Californians' lives.
Under the general direction of the Enterprise Data Pipeline (EDP) Project Manager, an IT Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) will serve as the Business Analyst for the EDP project.
POSITION IS PENDING FINAL BUDGET APPROVAL Key duties of the Business Analyst include:
- Business functional and non-functional requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Serve as project liaison to product owners.
- Document and capture business outcomes and inputs.
- Using dynamic workshops, engage with a broad spectrum of stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points and opportunities.
- Work with technical staff to ensure that business requirements are translated into meaningful and actionable technical requirements.
- Support the development of project-critical planning documents for control agencies, including the California Department of Technology.
- Help to ensure the ongoing viability of the EDP project solution by leading business analysis activities throughout both the project and product lifecycle.
Telework / Remote Work Information:
This position has been designated as eligible for telework.
The position may require in-person attendance when requested.
