California Department of Social Services California Department of Social Services Sacramento, CA Sacramento, CA Full-time Full-time $7,538 - $9,435 a month $7,538 - $9,435 a month Under the direction of the Child Care and Development Division (CCDD) Deputy Director, the Education Programs Consultant of the California Head Start-State Collaboration (CHSSCO) will work cooperatively division-wide with program units and managers of the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), the incumbent is assigned responsibilities to work on various early learning programs funded by federal and/or State funds, specifically the State early learning programs and federally funded Head Start programs.
The CHSSCO is funded by the Office of Head Start and the priorities of the office are part of the Head Start Act and authorized by Section 642B(a)(2)(A).
The Consultant will work independently and serve in an educational leadership role.
This position coordinates and leads the CHSSCO.
