Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster II Level - Public Agency with CalPers
Sacramento, CA Sacramento, CA Full-time Full-time $70,000 - $80,000 a year $70,000 - $80,000 a year Public agency seeks workers compensation claims examiner II level candidate with 2 to 3 years workers compensation claims adjusting experience including handling loss time claims.
This is not a senior level position and the starting salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.
The successful candidate should have two or more years of experience handling California workers compensation lost time claims.
You will be assigned to one or a few large accounts.
This position is hybrid remote where you will come to the Rancho Cordova area office a two days a week and will work from their home the other three days.
Actively manage a caseload of lost time cases Set and revise reserves.
Actively manage all aspects of cases including medical and legal issues.
Manage diary and complete tasks to ensure that cases move to the best financial outcome and timely resolution.
Excellent ability to manage medical issues.
Bring cases to resolution and closure.
Self-Insured Certification for CA is highly desired but not required.
WCCP and WCCA preferred.
Must have current experience handling California workers compensation files and excellent knowledge of workers' compensation law in California We are unable to consider candidates who do not have recent experience as a workers compensation claims examiner.
