Summary:
Perform construction laborer tasks on commercial buildings and facilities under the direction of the General Superintendent and Project Superintendent.
Jobsite setup and maintenance tasks include:
receiving, unloading, and placement of materials and equipment at work areas; placement and relocation of temporary lights, cords, safety equipment, barriers, etc.
; clean-up of work areas and jobsite; placement and maintenance of erosion control materials.
Assist carpenters and other construction personnel in various construction tasks and operations.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills and
Experience:
General knowledge of construction trade practices.
5
years of experience as a construction laborer is preferred.
General knowledge of safety regulations.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Maintain professionalism in actions and appearance.
Certifications and training in the use and operations of various tools, equipment, lifts and scaffolding as required to perform the tasks.
