Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant


The Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant (MLOA) is responsible for increasing the Mortgage Loan Originator's (MLO) personal sales volume by providing clerical, loan pipeline management and marketing assistance. Must have the ability to organize and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, work independently following direction given by MLO, and effectively and efficiently answer email and phone calls. Positive interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail required. Strong customer service skills required; professional demeanor a must; ability to maintain a database of information necessary; previous experience in the mortgage loan industry required. Previous experience in the Mortgage Loan industry preferred.

Skills:
Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of current experience
Strong knowledge of multiple loan programs including FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA and Jumbo
Solid interpersonal and customer service skills required; ability to work with diverse base of contacts up to and including MLOs, borrowers, Realtors, Escrow Officers and other industry personnel
Detail oriented individual with strong organizational and multitasking skills
Read, interpret and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and proceduresEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
