Senior Mortgage Loan Processor

Fast growing mortgage banker is seeking an experienced Sr. Loan Processor for our Carmichael location. A competitive per file commission and benefits will be offered based upon the candidate's competencies, knowledge and overall experience.

In addition to the following competencies the successful candidate must have the ability to demonstrate current knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC and FHA/VA product guidelines,

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITES
To support the loan approval process by ensuring that all loan documentation is accurately and efficiently completed following the documented processes and agreed time-lines
To review loan conditions to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with loan program/product requirements, investor guidelines, and Company standards
To examine loan-to-value ratios, credit reports and applications to ensure that program guidelines are met
To review State and Federal disclosures for accuracy and compliance
To ensure that all loan files are accurately completed following the documented processes and submitted for underwriting within agreed timescales
To communicate loan decisions to loan officers and borrowers, keeping them informed throughout the loan approval process
To build relationships with third parties and customers and deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times
To keep up to date with any FNMA/FHLMC and FHA/VA regulation changes and underwriting provisions, as well as internal Company policies and procedures
Other reasonable duties as required by your manager

REQUIRED PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

o 3 to 5 years CURRENT Loan Processing experience
o Demonstrated knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC and FHA/VA product guidelines
o Proficient in Desktop Originator and Loan Prospector underwriting engines
o Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
o Experience with Encompass a plus
o Results driven with great administration skills and attention to detail
o Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Excellent computer skills including word and excel
o Flexible team playerEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
