Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures Schedule client appointments/visits according to Service Plan/Care Plans and staff availability Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure proper coverage for all clients Enter scheduling data, create and release weekly schedule for all assigned caregivers Maintain call-in, retention and staff and client statistic reports Contact care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes Discern client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans Ensure communication from patients, physicians and caregivers are relayed in a timely manner Maintain staff and client database Perform general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distribute mail, provide reception coverage, telephone services, etc.
Maintains coordination of the Weekend/Holiday Staff Schedule, the On-Call RN schedule and the HHAs daily assignments Position Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience At least three (3) years experience in health care, preferably in home care.
Medical scheduling:

1 year (Preferred) Demonstrates good communication and public relations skills.
Demonstrates autonomy, organization, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
Ability to reliably commute to Sacramento, CA 95834 (Required).
