Summary:
Our Sacramento-based senior living communities are seeking an attentive and focused Occupancy Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting eligibility interviews, verifying applicant information, calculating tenant rent payments and subsidies, ensuring timely recertification of tenants, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will also provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing any housing-related inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. #scrcane


Key
Responsibilities:


Conduct eligibility interviews and verify applicant information.


Calculate tenant rent payments and subsidies accurately.


Ensure timely recertification of tenants and maintain accurate records.


Provide excellent customer service to tenants and address any housing-related inquiries or concerns.


Qualifications:


Certification as a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or a willingness to obtain certification.


Strong knowledge of affordable housing programs, including HUD regulations.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
