Description:
Direct and manage the corporate security team in support of the physical security activities necessary to protect the employees and assets of the credit union. Communicates and interacts with members, law enforcement, and branch/department personnel to assist in ensuring compliance to regulations, standards, and procedures.Some of the daily tasks:
- Oversee security staff training and performance.- Manage physical security and executive protection for credit union assets and personnel.- Liaise with law enforcement during incidents, train staff on robbery and security procedures.- Understand and comply with financial laws and regulations.- Evaluate and improve operational procedures.- Address and resolve member concerns.- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts.- Assist in fraud investigations and support legal processes.- Oversee adherence to security protocols across branches and operations centers.- Responsible for security at all California credit union branches.- Conduct security assessments for potential branch locations.- Manage security vendors, including contract negotiation and performance evaluations.- Handle investigations and interviews regarding workplace violence and other security issues.- Implement security and safety training for credit union employees.- Participate in projects affecting the Credit Union's security.- Maintain knowledge of regulations and manage risks related to security responsibilities.Desired Skill Set:
Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice or comparable discipline 5
years experience managing/overseeing physical/corporate Security, Risk, or Loss Prevention Knowledge of institution operations, policies, procedures Compensation:
$43.00/hr to $48.00/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
