You will make an impact in this role by supporting hiring supervisors recruit for critical positions in support of managing California's diverse fish, wildlife, and plant resources, and the habitats upon which they depend, for their ecological values and for their use and enjoyment by the public.
This position will provide recruitment consultations to hiring supervisors and employees, review and approve Human Resources recruitment transactions, place job advertisements, determine eligibility for candidates, and assist with developing recruitment plans.
We will provide the necessary training to ensure you are successful and have the opportunity to grow within state service.
This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for applicants residing in California.
The hybrid schedule currently requires two days a week in office and three days a week teleworking.
We're located in the new state-of-the-art Natural Resources Building in downtown Sacramento, right next to Light Rail for an easy commute.

Working Conditions This position works in a high-rise building when in-office and involves working on a computer/ the ability to use a computer keyboard several hours a day, i.

, working at a computer most of the time.
Attendance at virtual and in-person meetings and working groups as necessary is required.
This position is eligible for telework consistent with CDFW's current telework policy.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
