The candidate must be able to provide excellent customer service as the front-line representative to guests coming into the student salon, as well as be able to mentor and assist future professionals that are currently enrolled in the educational program.
The individual must be pleasant and personable, have strong problem solving skills, have a positive attitude and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings.
Previous experience in the salon industry is a plus.
Candidate must be open to learning and adapting to our systems and culture and have an absolute passion for serving people.
Skills Required:

Responsibilities:
Welcome service guests, check-in and offer refreshments Prepare Guest Service Tickets Enter the Guest Information Cards, Service guest formulas and Guest Service Folios into computer system using Service Desk software (Millennium) Daily management of the Service Desk Operations, including handling of point-of-sale system and daily cash/credit card receipts Ensure Service completion and checkout Answer the telephone promptly; redirect callers to appropriate department; follow-up on voicemails Accurately book, change, confirm and cancel appointments Follow up on service guest challenges Product knowledge for sales and guest recommendations Mentor and assist students in service and retail skills
Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant experience Proven professional success working in retail sales and/or customer service roles Strong interpersonal skills and passion for serving others Compensation:
