Telework Information:

Anticipated Interview Dates:
September 5th-8th CalPERS Retirement Benefit Services Division (RBSD) is seeking to fill an Office Technician (General) position to support the Automation Support Unit.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide clerical support to the Death Match Process Desk Enter and update participants information accurately into myCalPERS Review documents received via mail and upload to myCalPERS system Review and process incoming mail Please review the duty statement for more details about this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
