Job DescriptionThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide direction and leadership for the Company and will play a key role in the future growth and development in a fast-growing organization.
The CFO leads and manages the strategic financial and technology functions, and will support all other functional areas including operations, contracting, risk, and human resources through a team of functional peers.
The CFO directs and oversees all financial reporting, short and long-term financial planning, general and cost accounting, tax, banking and cash management.
He/she represents the Company on financial accounting issues, ensuring that the Company meets all corporate, statutory and regulatory requirements.
To achieve success in this high intensity and growing environment, the CFO will need a broad array of financial, technical, managerial, and leadership skills.
Ideal candidates will be very proactive.
He/she must be charismatic yet persistent, pressing issues to drive increases in both financial and non-financial metrics.
The CFO will develop, implement, and monitor metrics to help create focus and measure incremental lift of the Company s performance.
Additionally, he/she will create and maintain accurate forecasting tools that support the Company s vision, operations, project management and programs, both new and existing.
Essential Functions:
Direct the activities of the company s Finance, Accounting and IT teams Develop and implement operating plans to align the business with market demand Direct the development of the annual operating plan, capital budgets, and strategic plans; approves spending to budgetary levels Ensure strong working capital management Supervise the preparation of business intelligence for planning and evaluation of operations, identifying problems, and recommending/implementing corrective actions Communicate relevant data and financial information to the executive team that helps drive business decisions Provide guidance and advice to the CEO and other members of senior management on financial and business issues Provide thought leadership in determining and driving the company's financial strategies and participate in setting the company's overall strategic direction and continually look for new business opportunities Establish and maintain credibility throughout the organization, operations, and with the Ownership as a capable financial advisor and developer of solutions to business challenges Develop and implement financial strategies, objectives and business plans, including performance targets, policies and key metrics to achieve the Company s overall business objectives Manage the company's capital structure and provide leadership for obtaining and managing financing and investments Evaluate the impact on the organization of any regulatory requirements, including accounting changes or other emergent financial issues Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts, financial reports and operational trends to assist the President, Ownership, and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities Ensure appropriate controls and record-keeping procedures are in place to meet all statutory regulations, accounting standards, practices and audit requirements Implement and enforce financial policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Company Establish and lead a formal and consistent tax planning strategy PERSONAL TRAITS AND CAPABILITIES:

MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance related field 10
years of direct experience in finance and accounting in a large organization (5000
employees) Expertise in evaluating and strengthening financial reporting, metrics reporting, internal controls, systems/IT integration, etc.
Knowledge of all aspects of accounting principles accepted in the United States PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Master s in business administration Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence platforms Transportation, Logistics industries Experience with organization(s) serving as Federal Contractor Recommended Skills Accounting Analytical Auditing Business Administration Business Development Business Intelligence Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
