Our Disability & Survivor Benefits Division (DSBD)/Disability Retirement Unit/Special Programs Unit is currently seeking an Office Technician (General) to provide excellent customer service to internal team members, CalPERS members and disability retirees and drive our CalPERS mission.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist disability retirement analyst staff with all aspects of the intake processes regarding member's application for disability retirement, reevaluations, and working after retirement employment review.
Provide support to disability retirement analyst staff and designated units by completing and scheduling Independent Medical Examinations (IME) for members or retirees via phone or email.
Respond to inquiries and or written correspondence within departmental timeframes.
