Telework Information:
This position is eligible for a full-time remote schedule, with a requirement to occasionally report to the office.
This is a Limited Term position for a duration of 12 months that may be extended up to 24 months and/or may become permanent.

Our Customer Experience Division (CXD), Customer Contact Center (CCC) is currently seeking a full-time Staff Services Manager (SSM) I - Limited Term (LT) to oversee a team of CCC team members, providing coaching and mentoring to the team, and driving our CalPERS mission.
While the position is currently Limited Term, it may become permanent.
Under the general direction of a CCC SSM II, the SSM I responsibilities include working with Division Management to support the goals and objectives of the Division and the direct managing of the day-to-day operations of a CCC Unit.
Duties include personnel management with respect to hiring, training, assignments, employee performance, employee recognition, and other related areas of supervision to ensure a productive and cohesive work environment.
