Overview:
The Family Support Trainer provides education and support for families identified at risk for family conflict.
The Family Support Trainer will provide evidence-based lessons to families individually and in group settings in the home, school or other community-based locations that best meet the needs of families.

60 per hour, Non-Exempt A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
BA degree from an accredited college or university and 6 months of experience working with children and families in a social services or community-based program are required; Or At least 60 units completed from an accredited college and 2 years of experience working with children and families in a social services or community-based program are required; Or At least 30 units completed from an accredited college and 3 years of experience working with children and families in a social services or community-based program are required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency may be required for this position.
Previous experience in providing school-based, in-home or group-based instruction is highly desired.
Driving is an essential function of this job, and as such, employees in this position will be required to furnish their own vehicle to be used in the course of employment.
A valid driver's license and minimum insurance coverage is also required.
