CalPERS seeks a Staff Services Analyst (SSA) in the Prefunding Programs section to sell new and ongoing participation in the California Employers' Retiree Benefit Trust (CERBT) and the California Employers' Pension Prefunding Trust (CEPPT) fund programs.
Under direction and supervision of the Prefunding Programs Customer Outreach and Support Manager, the SSA performs the prospective customer sales and existing customer retention efforts with the goal being the ongoing growth and expansion of the CERBT and CEPPT.
Work assignments include but are not limited to:
Performing ongoing CERBT and CEPPT program sales efforts to establish new customer contracts.
Delivering consultative services to existing CERBT and CEPPT customers to retain their existing contracts.
Creating and delivering persuasive presentations to finance administrators and elected officials.
Traveling and representing the CERBT and CEPPT in Board meetings, at association conferences, and other events.
Creating detailed and thorough written responses to formal Requests for Proposal (RFP).
