82K to 87K Duties:
Responsible for month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation.
Assists accounting team in the day to day operations of the department, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, equipment fleet management, inventory management and general ledger.
Coordinate with Project costs and controls accountant and project management on job billings, changes orders, subcontract billings, job costs, projected costs and budgets Responsible for preparation and compliance with all audits.
Prepares and reviews procedures for equipment repair and maintenance cost accounting and fleet financial analysis.
Assures that effective communications are maintained within all areas of accounting.
Responsible for the review of all taxation reporting with government or regulatory agencies and that there is compliance with federal and state laws (including, but not limited to tax).
Reviews parts inventory procedures and recommends improvements to inventory management practices.
Coordinates and implements training for staff in accounting software programs as needed.
Responsible for assisting in the management of established systems, controls and operational data to ensure data integrity and accuracy, including any system implementation or upgrades.
Assist in the organizational security in accounting software and electronic data.
Assist with recruiting, training and evaluating accounting staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Five years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting Experience in a high volume AP and AR Managing a staff of more than 3 direct reports Recruiting skills ERP Software Experience Please like us on Facebook:
