District Fitness Manager
Summary:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES o Responsible for all aspects of fitness and personal training operations within the district o Direct efforts of club Fitness Management (FMs, AFMs and/or Fitness Coaches) to effectively support club fitness operations o Establish fitness sales goals for clubs, monitor performance and hold fitness personnel accountable for achieving expectations o Recruit, interview and select Fitness Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers and Fitness Coaches; review Personal Trainer hiring process with FMs to ensure quality hires o Train newly-hired Fitness Managers; assess effectiveness of training of Assistant Fitness Managers, Fitness Coaches and Personal Trainers o Analyze client feedback about personal training results to ensure high quality fitness programs o Audit Member/Client personal training files to ensure accurate and complete information o Conduct one on one sessions with club fitness leaders to review sales performance, FITSTART schedules and results, staffing and status of personal training o Motivate staff to perform at highest level at all times; visible within market/district on a daily basis interacting with club fitness staff o Analyze Personal Training Sales on a daily basis and update RFM as needed; update regional stat sheet on a daily basis o Attend and/or conduct scheduled meetings as required/needed o Ensure that the fitness sales staff follows ISHC policies, procedures and sales scripts o Demonstrate In-Shape's sales through service philosophy o Lead an In-Shape lifestyle and lead by example QUALIFICATIONS 2.
Bachelor's degree (kinesiology, sports medicine or related field preferred) 3.
Multi-unit management experience a plus 4.
Current CPR/AED certification 5.
Three to five years' experience working directly with customers and delivering high-satisfaction rates 6.
Three
years management experience, fitness preferred, leading supervisory and multi-department teams 7.
Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation (budgets, profit & loss statements specifically) 8.
Two
years in a sales-driven environment with a proven track record of improving sales results 9.
Strong writing and math skills, excellent communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Outlook Click here to apply.
