Senior Buyer

A growing Food Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team! You will be responsible for the management and replenishment inventory of ingredients through analyzing forecasts, past sales and usage trend to meet Company objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
o The Buyer position will perform the following duties:
o Maintains multi line product replenishment from vendors and suppliers at competitive market pricing.
o Maintains adequate inventory levels to ensure superior service levels to customers and sales force through use of industry standard Best Practices procedures.
o Achieves established gross profit levels while maintaining a competitive cost basis through negotiation and relationship development.
o Works in an environment that requires team work and the ability to work independently to maintain required job parameters.
o Develops interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust, both internally and externally.
o Develops pricing rationale for products within category(s).
o Establishes earned income strategies and evaluates products within assigned categories to determine profitability and feasibility of purchasing.
o Establishes logistical opportunities for our Opco and Corp Logistics to be able to handle freight at negotiated levels.
o Other duties as needed and assigned to support the team and company.
Experience Requirements:
o Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Business, Production Operations management or related field preferred.
o 5 years purchasing and inventory control experience.
o MRP experience a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
