Job Description:
The Graphics Perceptual and Storage (GPS) team in PC Client Group (PCCG) is looking to fill the role of an Applications Engineer for Perceptual Computing Technologies.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
You must possess a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Science/Engineering with at least 5
years of software/HW industry experience.
Masters Degree with at least 3
years industry experience.

Experience working with customers and vendors is required.

Excellent overall understanding of PC architecture with knowledge of one or more of the following:
chipset/graphics architecture, system architecture, platform software/hardware :
A thorough understanding of speech technologies, computer audio subsystem including microphone and speaker positioning and audio enhancement techniques Preferred
Qualifications:
:
Customer engagement experience and ability to create customer ready material would be an advantage Other
Qualifications:
:
Technical leadership ability, strong problem solving skills, and strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders :
Basic knowledge of perceptual computing related usages, specifications, challenges :
Ability to learn and acquire a mixture of software and hardware skills :
Manage and track multiple customer issues in an organized manner :
Willingness to learn new technologies, and share the knowledge to train colleagues :
Programming experience and ability to develop scripts or automate tasks is a plus :
Knowledge/experience with imaging/camera technologies a plus :
